Ingredients

  • 1 lb. salmon, skinless and boneless
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 avocado, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Pat the salmon dry and sprinkle with thyme, basil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large oven-safe skillet.
  4. Place the salmon in the skillet and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon over and place the skillet into the oven. Roast for 10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked all the way through.
  6. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and set it aside to cool.
  7. In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine, sliced red onion, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced avocado.
  8. Toss with your favorite salad dressing and top with the salmon.
