First up, we got the Simple Pasta Salad. Now, don’t let the name fool you – this dish is anything but boring. It’s got all the right ingredients to make it a crowd-pleaser: pasta, tomatoes, olives, and feta cheese. I mean, come on, who doesn’t love feta cheese?!

Here’s how you make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pasta
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olives, pitted
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 egg yolks

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium-high heat until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar and egg yolks until well combined.
  4. Slowly pour the hot cream into the egg mixture while continuously whisking.
  5. Pour the mixture into four 6-ounce ramekins.
  6. Place the ramekins in a baking dish and fill the dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the tops are set but the centers are still slightly jiggly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  9. When ready to serve, sprinkle 1-2 teaspoons of sugar over the top of each ramekin and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until it forms a crispy crust.
