- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour batter over melted butter in baking dish, but do not mix.
- Arrange peach slices on top of batter.
- Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup sugar over peaches.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
